If your situation requires services outside our scope, we will notify you and may refer you to another professional. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your failure to engage appropriate professionals for matters outside our scope.

8. Fees and Payment

Fees for services are as specified in your engagement letter or fee agreement. Unless otherwise stated:

• Fees are non-refundable once services have been performed
• Payment is due upon receipt of invoice
• We may require a retainer or advance payment before beginning work
• We may suspend services if payment is not received when due
• You are responsible for all collection costs if payment is not made
• Fees may be adjusted if the scope of work changes or becomes more complex than initially anticipated

9. Confidentiality

You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms remain in full force and effect. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alan Balmer, PC regarding the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, and agreements, whether oral or written.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website or services after posting constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it at a later time.
